About Jake

During his PhD at the University of Bristol, UK, Jake combined advanced microscopy, theoretical modelling, and machine learning to study epithelial cell dynamics during fly development and wound healing. In the Chan lab, he will continue to apply novel deep learning approaches and biophysics to investigate mammalian ovulation during development and ageing.
